Yes — the account has no monthly service charge when you enroll in e‑statements or maintain a $500 daily minimum balance.
If neither condition is met, the account has a $7 monthly service charge
Do I have to keep $500 in the account?
No. You can avoid the monthly fee simply by enrolling in e‑statements, even if your balance is under $500. Keeping $500 daily is only one option to waive the fee — e‑statements is the easier alternative for most.
I only get paid once a month. Can I still qualify for the $300 bonus?
Yes — absolutely. To qualify, you need two direct deposits totaling at least $750 within the first 90 days. These deposits can be from the same employer but must occur twice. If you are paid monthly, you’ll typically have two payroll deposits within ~60 days, so you should qualify—just make sure both are posted within 90 days of opening.
What counts as a qualifying direct deposit?
Any payroll, government benefit, or pension ACH deposit.
Mobile deposits and P2P transfers (Cash App, Venmo, etc.) do not count.
What are all the requirements to earn the $300 bonus?
Within the first 90 days, you’ll need to:
- Receive two ACH direct deposits totaling $750+
- Complete 15 debit card transactions of at least $5 each
- Transactions must post to the account to qualify.
